LAMDA Public Speaking provides tools to help learners construct speeches and engage with a wide range of communication techniques, including vocal projection, diction, and positive body language. Students gain personal development skills in organisation, group discussion, speech-writing, and presentation methods used in all areas of public speaking. Students prepare speeches for both the exam and a sharing showcase.
London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) courses are aimed at developing learners’ self-confidence and a broad range of essential life skills that will support them in the future. Weekly classes are rooted in encouraging participants to develop a love of literature and performance. All courses are taught in English and culminate in a springtime graded exam adjudicated by an external LAMDA examiner from London. Students receive an official LAMDA certificate of achievement and a written report from the examiner providing feedback on the assessment. At medal levels, these internationally-recognised qualifications award UCAS points for university admissions.
