Exhibition of works by Momar Seck curated by Ecolint students

This exhibition was curated by three of our Year 13 students as a preparation for their IB Visual Arts exam.

At the heart of the curator's know-how is the selection of works, the choice of layout and installation, while ensuring adequate distance and taking into account the constraints of the designated place.

The works of "Poésie de couleurs et de matières" explore the use of various materials on the theme of the environment. They adopt, recycle and borrow the elements of our culture that our tendency to sublimation tends to feed on. Momar Seck is active in the process of interpretation, imitation, approximation, trial and error, thus paraphrasing the out-of-context use of objects and materials. Like the use of words in a poem.
