If the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about tap dancing is Fred Astaire, this show is made for you!
On 23 and 24 November 2019, discover what contemporary tap dancing is with two evenings of performance, presented by five talented young dancers and the "Tap Dan's Company", accompanied by a brilliant trio of musicians.

  • Daniel Leveillé (Geneva)
  • Daniel Borak (Winterthur / Chicago)
  • Christina Carminucci (New York)
  • Maria Busquets (Barcelona / Geneva) and Shyrleen Mueller (Fribourg)
  • "Tap Dan's Company" (Winterthur)

  • Matthieu Llodra (piano)
  • Pierre Balda (double bass)
  • Noah Tavelli (percussion)

This is the first time in Geneva that such talented young tap dancers take to the stage. Despite coming from different countries, they all challenge the same stereotypes, those presenting tap dancing as an obsolete, outdated art form. Yet not only has swing never been better (with the great return of the 20s!), but this unique dance form has always blended well with modern music, rhythms and dances.
Come and discover a unique show combining tradition and modernity, sound and movement.
