The Centre des arts is launching a brand new cinema programme as part of its 2019-2020 season. Open to a range of ages, the films selected will enable audiences to explore and enjoy the creativity and variety of cinematic art, while engaging in interdisciplinary exchanges on a number of global topics.
Ten-year old Mia finds herself far from her friends, her school and her life when her family moves to South Africa to manage a lion farm. When Charlie, a baby lion, enters the scene she falls for him immediately and the two become inseparable. But all is not as it seems on the farm and soon Mia and Charlie must embark on an adventure that will change them both, forever.

The screening of Mia and the White Lion is brought to you in partnership with La Grande Boissière’s Parent-Teacher Association.
